| What is Monofast ? |
Samyang's Monofast is fast absorbable synthetic monofilament suture material bulk composed of
Polyglycolide-poly(e-caprolactone) copolymer (PGCL). Monofast is available undyed(golden clear) and
dyed(violet) in color. Monofast is intended for assembly of sterile surgical sutures with and without
needles.
Monofast meets all the requirements established by the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for Synthetic
Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures.
