| What is Monosorb ? |
Samyang's Monosorb is dyed (D&C Violet No. 2) synthetic absorbable monofilament suture material bulk
composed of Polydioxanone(PDO). This Material is intended for assembly of sterile surgical sutures with
and without needles for human and veterinary use.
Monosorb meets all the requirements established by the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for Synthetic
Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures.
